Our mission
AI Magnet chapters bring people together locally to learn, share and use AI in everyday work and life. Chapter leaders host friendly, practical gatherings in their own city.
What leaders get
• Meet and network with AI learners, builders and businesses near you • Visibility as the named host of your city's chapter inside the Hub • Tools to plan local events, collect RSVPs and post moderated announcements • Support and guidelines from the AI Magnet team This is a volunteer role. There is no pay, and no particular results are promised.
What leaders do
• Host or co-host a local meetup or online session when you can (we suggest about once a month) • Welcome new chapter members and keep discussions respectful • Follow the community guidelines and moderation process • Keep event details accurate and cancel early if plans change
Chapter cities
Live from our chapter list. Cities marked “Leader assigned” already have a leader.

Questions
Do I need to be an AI expert?
No. Curiosity, reliability and a welcoming attitude matter more than expertise.
How are leaders chosen?
An admin reads every application and may reach out personally. Applying doesn't give you any new access; a leader is only added after an admin assigns them.
Can I apply for a city that already has a leader?
Cities with a leader are marked as such. You can still join those chapters as a member.
Is this a paid position?
No. Chapter leadership is a volunteer role.
